Lesson 1: Technology Significance and Importance

20^th century is the digital age were most of the country are using modern technologies. Several countries are now in a leading succession because of their out numbered wealth and contribution to the advancement of modern technology. Example, in U.S.A., it is one of the well developed country because they are also one of the country who had a advance technology. Technology in their country can be seen everywhere. They have specific budget that are divided to their projects and one of that project is technology advancement research. They prioritize to develop technology because it helps to increase their economic income, educational learning and lessens the peoples burden of work. Technology on them give high importance and focus on developing it. Compared to our own country, in the Philippines, we are also now touched by modern technology but it is not the one of the priority of the government. Philippines is still dependent in the traditional or old way of living were all works are done manually. Based on the the survey, Philippines is one of the poorest country in the world. The first priority of the government is the education and economic growth of the Philippines yet without embracing the advance technology. Local government code 1992 states the decentralization or minimizing the budget of the government. So instead of having a budget for technology and technology research the budget will use to the primary needs of the country. Philippines wants to embrace new and advance technology but the people living of it doesn't want to accept it.
                Technology gives a big impact not only in the economy but also in education. As everyone embrace technology it will give to you a greater impact not only to our self but also to the whole environment.
