Computer has a wide rage of uses. as a whole it is a tool that can be used by the teachers in the classroom discussion. Computer as a tool, it helps the teacher to make an output by using computer (printing grades from computer by making it in Microsoft Excel and by making a powerpoint presentation of lesson by using Microsoft PowerPoint). these are some of the uses of computer in education. Furthermore computer as a tool can be a tutor or tutee.
TUTOR. computer is being used as a tutor in helping the teacher about the lesson. best example of it are computer assisted instruction where the lesson are programmed in a software program. for example, the teacher make a program for the lesson in art about the types of colors. secondary colors are made by combining two primary colors. Once the student click the two primary colors there will be an output of secondary color. as a tool it gives a wide range of information where students don't need to ask to the teacher. In other hand it is also time consuming for the teacher to make a program about the topic or lesson.
TUTEE. the tutor or the person gives the instruction to the computer on what will do.best example of it is making a video presentation in Movie Maker. The tutor will import the materials and objects need and the computer will follow that the tutor want to do. If videos are compiled and you want animation just choose what the tutor want and the computer will do it. Computer as a tutee applies the creativity of the tutor to the output. In other hand it also give a limited functions and operation.
